I'm a disciple of Jesus Christ, the beloved Son of God and our messiah; who indeed was slain on the cross so long ago, yet (as fortold) rose again on the third day having triumphed over an eternal death once and for all! He now sits to the right hand of God as He waits to come back and claim the *FEW* Christians (Mat 7:21-23, Luke 13:23-30) there truly are (also why my music tends to gravitate predominantly around minor keys -- to represent the tragedy in that the message has been/is being lost on so many). This is a sad reality I've finally accepted, after "believing" that for much of my life I too was a Christian -- but unfortunately, the bulk of that time I must profess that though I believed in my mind that Jesus was Lord, I did not LIVE THE LIFE of a believer -- and there are many people still fooling themselves just like I had been! My recent songs have been given me by the Holy Spirit to help some of you out there that may find yourself in a similar place in life such that I found myself. While a much more expanded (and wholly personal, even) testimony will be posted to this site when the Spirit leads me to do so, I will briefly summarize here that almost exactly one year ago (and this text was written in July of 2011), I went to a revival which rekindled a fire not only in my own life, but that of our church body as well -- subsequently I was convicted by the Holy Spirit of God, as He told me how I'd been the 'luke-warm' "Christian" all my life, having never really truly repented of my sinful nature. Then, I asked Him -- well, what makes a sin into a sin? How can I know what to do and what NOT to do? The Spirit then led me through the Bible through many specific scriptures, which once I'd read them, actually DID help me understand the nature of sin! For as the Bible also tells us, "Seek and ye shall find; ask and it shall be given you!" I was shown through the scriptures not only what sin (look up 'sin' under your concordance and reference each scripture including the contextual verses before and after the one listed in the concordance!!!) is in the lives of believers under the new covenant (Jesus' life, death and resurrection), but also as it was under the Old as well! This truth about sin, as God's shown me, can be tested and tried by anyone out there, too! Even when God gave the Isrealites the 10 commandments, they then (and still today) ALL boiled down to one basic fundamental truth: DO NOT BE SELFISH. Don't value your life, your 'things', anything -- over another person's, nor of course over God! It literally means that it is not WHAT a person does which is a sin, instead it is only the INTENT IN A PERSON'S HEART that determines what is a sin! Anything done for a selfish motivation is done in place of God's will, substituting one's own will IN PLACE of God's! The scripture of my own very life says this to us all -- though until God opened my eyes fully, I didn't truly understand it myself! That scripture is Philippians 4:13 which reads: "I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens me!" This is no mere justification tactic; it is rather a reminder to me to ALWAYS seek out GOD'S WILL in EVERYTHING I DO!

Today of course, these truths are still viable and important to realize for anyone desiring to follow God. For if we are selfish, it is choosing that we (instead of God) are in charge of our life's direction and purpose -- like we 'take the reigns' or get back 'behind the wheel' in our own lives -- which is something that God wants to do for ALL of us! And friends, as I can lovingly tell you, it was a bit hard for me to give him 100% of my life -- until I did so! Now, I shall NEVER look back, nor do I wish to run my own life in any fasion! Friends I must assure you of a Godly truth many people still have yet to discover -- when you devote your entire life, everything that you are including your very soul, to God -- He will begin to work with you, just as the scriptures say: we are the clay, and He is the potter! He will shape and mold you and as He does, it will not take long AT ALL for you to love His personal presence within your life so, that you'll never wish Him to leave you again! Thus you will not want to sin! Of course, if you didn't realize what sin actually was about until you found this page, I would encourage you to take a moment and pray to God, asking Him to reveal His own will to help you understand this (if you don't, or if you are not sure about it -- there are a LOT of pitfalls, stumbling blocks and traps in minds out there -- all set by Satan the deceiver who is very very real, I assure you!) -- AND I urge you to be receptive to God -- allow Him to show you, TRULY show you as He has me, just HOW MUCH HE LOVES YOU! He does not ever wish any soul be condemned to an eternal death, as those who deny Jesus Christ shall indeed receive -- but because He gave us all free will, we must all come to the decision on our own terms; He will NOT force us to love Him. If you were He, would you do so? Wouldn't that be an empty 'love' you'd see? This is truly why God, friends, wants YOU to find HIM -- and then allow Him into your life in a very VERY personal way! It does require faith (and a mere fraction of it is all that is required, I assure you!) to accept God's existance and love when you cannot see evidence of Him -- but as I and many more before me throughout History have subsequently seen, once you show Him that you are willing to believe -- HE WILL REVEAL HIMSELF TO YOU IN ALL THINGS according to His perfect timing! That is also of course to say, according to one's obedience unto His will for their life!
